The soul finds peace not when
everything is perfect,
but when it learns to be at peace with
the imperfect.

I would also like to say that this is not something that
you should do, or I should do. This is
something that we all are doing all the time.
Every moment we spend in our eternal journey, we are all growing in consciousness. It is
just the nature of consciousness, to grow, learn and expand. We can either make a conscious effort to do
it or we can be drug along unconsciously.
And every time one of us, even though there really is no
such thing as one of us (because we are All the All), becomes a little more
aware we all grow. This realm is here
to help us grow as Divine spirits.
Adversity sharpens. We never
get better in a game, unless there our defined rules/boundaries and some type
of opposition. Opposition and boundaries
are the friction that make us better.
And I think we can all look around and see that there is plenty of
friction in this world for our growth.
Awareness is the Beginning of Change
The opening picture is from our t-shirt collection. The spiritual meaning of insects are transformation
and the interconnectedness of life.
Notice the 3rd eye in the insect, connecting us to the
awareness of our higher nature. No
transformation takes place without first having a deep awareness about
something. Why do novice car drivers
have more accidents? Because they lack
the experience that brings the subtle awarenesses. They see the other car’s blinker showing a
left turn, but they miss the subtle nuance that the driver’s car tires are
turned to the right. But with time and
experience they would have come to know the drivers was always turning right,
they just turned their blinker on in the wrong direction.
All expanded consciousness starts with a subtle
awareness. Craftsman are people that
have honed their awarenesses on a specific subject over years and years of
experience.
So why even become awakened?
To me, becoming awakened is the most important
thing. No matter what skill, art or
lifestyle we choose in this world. No
matter how we decide to carry out the business of life. Consciously choosing how we direct and carry
ourselves is always more fruitful than just some random willy nilly wake up in
the morning and follow some thoughtless routine. A craftsman creates with purpose. Why not create
with conscious direction? We can choose to be peaceful, we can choose to be
joyful, we can choose to act with purpose, not just react to the onslaught of
stimuli that is hurtled at us daily.
Life becomes more of a flow, because we have directed the
force of our energy. Look how powerful
a laser is. A laser is focused
energy. We are energy. As we become awake, we refine all our Divine
gifts. We learn to create in harmony
with our talents. Over time even the
mundane becomes holy.
Awakening is the opening to the Great Force, that lies
within us.
I hope you all will join me on this Awakening Series journey. Please all of us, let’s join each other to
awaken ourselves. This world can, will
be and is a heaven, a garden of Eden, a place where we can experience the joy
which surpasses all understanding.
Much love to you all.
Let’s set ourselves free. Let’s
be childlike and go play in this sandbox.
Why not pick fun, peace and joy each day? Their available to us.

Post Script – Finding
gratefulness, peace and joy in the mundane!
This morning, I was washing my dishes and enjoying the
experience and being thankful for it. It
is often the juxtaposition of life that shows us to appreciate the small
things. I have a close friend that has
been in jail now for 33 days. During
this incarceration He hasn’t seen the clouds, he
lives in a 12’ x 12’ cell with two others and all the routines and accoutrements
of daily life have been stripped away.
During this last 33 days I have thought about him: As I sailed my old
boat on the lake with my son and his friend, as I cooked meals, as I wrote
stories, as I vacationed in the mountains, paid my bills, spoken with friends
and family, worked out with my oldest son, shared pictures and stories, watched
the many rainstorms from my 16th floor apartment and as I hand
washed my dishes as I always do. Reasonably
carefree and happy. His unenvious
position has brought me closer to realizing the life privileges we take for
granted and should more deeply enjoy every day.
